Best stands at BETA International 2009
The winners of the BETA International 2009 Best Stand Awards are Ekkia SAS (Best Large Stand over 32 square metres) and Bentley Equestrian (Best Small Stand under 32 square metres).
The awards were sponsored for the seventh consecutive year by The Wine & Hamper Company.
The judges were John and Bee Perkins of BETA International’s accountants Financial Direction and Caroline Reeves, of the Shop & Display Equipment Association (sdea).
They toured BETA International to identify stands with visual appeal and originality, good use of space, clear intent of purpose, accessibility and clear representation of products and services.
Every exhibitor's stand was automatically entered
into the relevant BETA International Best Stand Award category.

BEST LARGE STAND
Winner - Ekkia SAS
Judges’ comments: "A stunning stand that stops you in
your tracks. Inviting and superbly lit, colour co-ordinated and
good for viewing from inside and out."
Runner-up - Matchmakers International
Judges’ comments: "Very impressive; an interesting,
asymmetrical shape for a modern take on a classic stand."
BEST SMALL STAND
Winner - Bentley Equestrian
Judges’ comments: "A really well merchandised stand
with excellent use of space. Showcases worked effectively to draw
you in."
Runner-up - LPD (laundry equipment)
Judges’ comments: "Superb graphics, staff’s black
corporate wear stands out against flame red backdrop."
