Merial returns to BETA International
Merial Animal Health, a former main sponsor of BETA International, is to exhibit at the 2010 trade exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham, UK on 21-23 February.
Merial will bring to BETA International its EQVALAN® and EQVALAN Duo horse wormer brands plus FRONTLINE® Spot-On, for flea and tick control in dogs and cats.
The company was main sponsor of BETA International for four years, from 2000 to 2003 inclusive, and returns for 2010 as an exhibitor.
EQVALAN, EQVALAN Duo, FRONTLINE Spot-On are licensed products available to consumers via vets, pharmacies and retailers who are suitably qualified persons (SQPs).
“BETA International is the ideal opportunity to take our new initiatives, including our equine worm count promotion, to a wider audience,” said Claire Edmunds of Merial Animal Health.
“Retailers can come to see us for up-to-date information on worming, SQP training and exciting marketing support. We’ll also be capturing the imaginations of retailers who see potential in diversifying across the equine and pet markets.”
Merial will be running fun competitions, featuring chocolate eggs and worms, on its stand too.
“Many exhibitors, such as Merial, bring an educational element to BETA International which makes the visiting experience even more valuable for retailers - particularly if they are SQPs or aspiring SQPs,” said Claire Thomas, commercial manager of BETA International organiser EMC.
