New sponsor for BETA International product showcase

Classic Showjumps, leading manufacturer of high quality plastic Pro-Jumps and traditional timber fences, is to sponsor the New Product Gallery at BETA International 2010.

Warwickshire, UK based Classic Showjumps won a BETA International 2009 Innovation Award for its flat-packed, retailer-friendly show jumps.

The Classic Showjumps New Product Gallery has become a focal point for BETA International buyers seeking fresh lines to stock.

Visitors can walk around the three-dimensional gallery to view approximately 80 products in a display showcase created by professional shop-fitters. Free leaflets containing product information and exhibitors’ stand numbers are available.

Classic Showjumps supply wings, poles and fillers in both timber and UK-made durable plastics. Water trays and wavy planks are among its most popular products, while its range encompasses equipment for gridwork, groundwork and lunging as well as gymkhanas.

Run by husband and wife team Graham and Diane Towers, Classic Showjumps has made the sale of show jumps, working hunter and cross country fences accessible to the trade with scaled-down merchandising ‘mini’ jumps and easy-to-stock, flat-packed products.

“From every riding school to each professional eventer’s arena, they all need jumps. Our aim is to open up this huge market to the equestrian and country retailer,” said Diane.

Top riders using Classic Showjumps include Olympic medallist Tina Cook, eventer Polly Jackson and show jumping rider and trainer Di Lampard. The company is also sole UK distributor of the Safety Systems plastic jump system.

“As an innovator in its field, Classic Showjumps is the ideal partner for the New Product Gallery,” said Claire Thomas, commercial manager of BETA International organiser EMC. “Visitors can look forward to a bright, newly themed area packed with inspirational ideas for successful retailing.”

BETA International takes place at the NEC, Birmingham, UK on 21-23 February. Admission is strictly trade only and free on pre-registration.
